A |     受今年第10号台风“美莎克”影响，7月初，广西横州市遭遇极端强降雨，六蓝水库、云表水库发生险情，导致学校受淹、损毁。    (ECNS) -- The 6th Qinghai-Xizang Plateau Development Forum opened on Tuesday in Haiyan County, Haibei Zang Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Qinghai Province.    Co-hosted by the China Tibetology Research Center, leading academic institutions and local governments, the two-day event brought together nearly 50 senior officials and prominent scholars from major universities and research institutes.        Participants held in-depth discussions on promoting long-term stability and high-quality development across the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau under the framework of the Chinese path to modernization.    Key topics included protecting the region as a vital national ecological security barrier, improving local livelihoods, promoting high-quality population development, integrating the development of national parks with surrounding communities, advancing rural revitalization following ecological relocation, and fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.    The forum aims to provide practical, evidence-based policy recommendations to support sustainable and locally adapted modernization across the plateau.     (By Helen Mo, intern Lin Qiaochu)                    。据记者了解，截至8月21日，横州市已完成辖区72所受灾学校的环境清理、水电修复、教学设备调试安装等各项开学准备工作。

B | 横州市受灾学校各项开学保障工作基本落实到位，达到开学条件。横州市教育局相关负责人介绍，目前校园环境清理已实现全覆盖，清淤消杀、防疫处置以及饮用水送检工作全部完成，饮用水合格率达到百分之百，水、电、网、路全部修复畅通，住宿配套物资落实到位，已满足开学要求。（央视新闻）。
